The City of Redding and the Redding Electric
Utility District have purchased 32 large metal
bell ornaments for the official Town Christmas
Tree. These metal bells are about 14" in
diameter, are painted with snowmen designs, and
enclose a rolling metal ball inside of them.
When wind blows the metal ball makes a pleasant
jingle sound

California Decor Store Finishes Expansion
It's finally done! The new addition opened at 4:00
PM on Saturday, April 28th, 2007!

Long-time California Decor Store customer Sheri
Roullier hosted the very first CDS Margarita
Madness party in the newly expanded retail
space. Margaritas were provided courtesy of The
Margarita Man of Redding. It was an unseasonably
warm day, so the margaritas were very welcome!
California Decor Store donated 10% of sales to
Kids Unlimited, plus
$5.00 for each person that had never been on our
mailing list that attended this private party.
California Decor Store is proud to have raised
funds for the Kids Unlimited program. Thank you
Sheri, and all those that attended, for
purchasing items and helping raise funds for a
wonderful cause!
California Decor Store Begins Expansion into New
Space
There's going to be some noise and some dust at
California Decor Store during February, as we
begin knocking down walls, applying new paint,
and rolling out new carpet. The main showroom
floor will become 5,000 square feet, with a
secondary showroom consisting of an additional
1,400 square feet and storage space.
"We're really excited about the additional
products we will be able to display," said
Victor Hnyp, President of California Decor
Store. "We're already known for providing unique
products to the North State. Now we're going to
be the largest store of our type in the area.
This will allow us to offer even more selection
of home decor, garden decor, furniture
accessories, bath and body products, jewelry and
gifts to our customers. We are absolutely
committed to the Redding Downtown Mall - that's
why we signed a seven-year lease, with an
additional 7 year option. We're here to stay!"
The biggest bonus of the additional space will be
the inclusion of larger products. "Our customers
have told us that homes are getting bigger.
Ceilings are getting taller. We listened! We
will have the opportunity to offer large items
now. Things like seven foot wind chimes! Large
items for Christmas and the Holiday Season. This
is going to allow us to serve a market that
wants things BIG!" said Hnyp.

Tuscan Heights Lavender Gardens (www.TuscanHeights.net)
has great ambitions to become THE lavender product producer in the
North State, and California Decor Store has no doubts they will
succeed.
Lynette Gooch, founder of Tuscan Heights, has
enlisted California Decor Store as the first
retail store anywhere to carry Tuscan's
products. Products include lavender candles,
lavender bath soap, lavender linen spray... the
list goes on and on!

Savvy Home Stagers uses California Decor Store
Products
California Decor Store and Savvy Home Stagers have
entered into an agreement whereby California
Decor Store provides product for staging the
first of two homes in Lake California. The
second home will follow in approximately one
week.
Savvy Home Stagers is the first CDS client to
begin "renting" furniture and accessories
carried by the store. Fees are competitive, with
the first month lease being 20% of retail price
and each additional month being 15%. Minimum
rental is 1 month. Delivery and pick-up is
included in the rental fee, but placement,
arrangement, mounting, hanging, etc. are not
included.

In addition to our store in Redding we will offer
E-Bay-only special promotions at starting bid
prices that are LOWER than our store prices.
Redding-area residents can pick up E-Bay purchased
products (bid winning items as well as "Buy it
Now" items) at our store in the Redding downtown
mall and PAY NO SHIPPING charges.
CalDecorStore on E-Bay is set up to receive
payments through PayPal, including VISA,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and
e-Checks.
If customers would rather call the store directly
and process their VISA, MasterCard, American
Express or Discover card through our store's merchant
services they may do so. Any credit card
transactions outside of PayPal require the
3-digit security code on the back of the
customer's credit card.
